arte e parte presents is first of all a concept for video art screenings designed for the cinema, as a prelude to the regular evening program of movie theaters. The idea is to have an ongoing intervention of time-based art as an experimental cinematographic format. The duration of a single intervention is supposed to vary between 3 - 10 minutes.
The program of arte e parte presents focuses on linguistic aspects of current art recurring to the moving image, which is not explicitly intended to be projected in the movie theater.
The screenings do not show complete works, but rather excerpts of works, selected to contribute representing the phenomenological spectrum of art which can be projected and amplified: linear or not linear, looped or multi-channel, generated in real time, randomized, realized as an installation or intended for the screen, realized using documentary techniques or instruments of appropriation, staging and performance.
arte e parte presents is collaborating with Cinema Beltrade in Milan since 2017.

The EXTERIORS are territories, landscapes, maps, mountains, borders staged between Morocco and France, passing through Spain and finally arriving in Milan, central station.
